~ Content ~

  The Court has been working their hardest for days to find answers, any clues that can help them escape the castle, but to no avail. After the Royal Ball, a time of bonding and fun for everyone, things seem to finally be looking up, and spirits are certainly high... until it all takes a turn for the worse. To the King's delight and Kostya's horror, a second murder occurs, and this time, there is very little evidence left behind that might allow the Royal Competition participants to solve it.

  Kostya tries his best to work through the shock and terror, to inspect the victim's body and any areas he thinks may be relevant to the case, but when the conference comes around, it seems all hope is lost from the first moment.

  However, there is one factor he fails to account for. He may not have discovered much through his investigation work, but there are others around him who have access to resources and information that could be essential in piecing things together.

  As old knowledge circles back into relevance, past events are discussed, and potential culprits are singled out and accused, the Court comes closer and closer to answers, but even so, solving a murder case is no easy task.

  The debates continue on until only two options remain, and by the end, the Court is entirely divided in their beliefs. Half would accuse one suspect, and half would accuse the other, but the worst part is, there doesn't seem to be any way of determining which option is truly best.

  Who will turn out to be correct? Will they vote for the right person, or will the King's Champion escape unharmed while an innocent is left to suffer for their mistake?

  All will be revealed in this thrilling conclusion!

~ Gameplay ~

  Since this is an investigation & conference portion, it includes much more engaging gameplay features. Throughout the first segment, you get to control Kostya as he searches for evidence to explain what happened in this court scandal. Look around every room, study the victim's body, and talk to those around you to gather information, and once you've done enough, you will be faced with a quiz to test your knowledge!

  As for the conference itself, it functions just the same as the last one. Answer questions and conquer minigames to pass to the next discussion—and try not to lose too many points while you're at it!

  If you can make it through without getting a game over (losing all of the 100 points you start out with), or letting your score fall below 35, you can unlock extra content, never-before-seen scenes that reflect things that happened when Kostya wasn't around! So put in your best effort, and don't let yourself forget anything that's unfolded in recent times!

  Altogether, chapter 2 part 2 is over 6 hours long! Hopefully this will keep you busy as you await the release of chapter 3 part 1~!
