Chapter 3 Part 2 RELEASED!

Greetings from Queen Mist and Queen Dani!

We have a very special announcement today! After all, it is December 1st. And you remember what that means, right?

Last One Standing: Royal Massacre chapter 3 part 2 is officially available for download!

At long last, see the conclusion to the game's riveting third chapter! The drama and the mysteries all reach their climax point here, so you won't want to miss it!

Story

Kostya and the others are horrified to discover that, for the third time, the competition has started up. Yet another innocent person has suddenly been murdered, right when everyone was in the middle of executing their own plan elsewhere. Distracted. Not only is this crime far more gruesome than any of the others they've seen thus far, but a bit of looking around proves that there also seems to be significantly less evidence left behind to indicate the killer responsible for it.

One thing is for sure: Even if they have little to work with, the Court absolutely cannot give up. Failing the conference means losing another innocent life, so it is their duty to do whatever it takes to prevent that outcome. However, upon arriving in the conference room, they find that this task may be far more difficult than they realize.

Luckily, they have just enough information to make one great stride. A few minutes of discussion yields the conclusion that, as it turns out, there are several people who could not be guilty. What does this mean, exactly?

The Court is divided in half, between five confirmed innocents and five potential suspects.

Now they must complete the conference in a way they've never done before. Instead of working through the evidence they've discovered to figure out who is most likely to be the King's Champion, it's down to process of elimination. The innocents have no choice but to examine all of the suspects, to see if there's any way to prove that any of them must be innocent. If four of them can be accounted for, then they'll have their killer. And if not...?

Follow Kostya through the thrilling finale of chapter 3! Get ready for twists and turns galore in this brand-new update to Last One Standing: Royal Massacre!

Gameplay

Because this is a conference, there is far more to do than simply using maps and making dialogue choices. No, the stakes are far higher now. After all, you have to help the Court succeed, don't you?

Chapter 3 part 2, like every chapter's second half, begins with an engaging murder investigation, in which you must assist Kostya through the process of collecting clues and gathering statements from the others. Don't forget to look everywhere in every available room. If you miss anything, that could spell the end for any innocent member of the Court!

As usual, the conference itself runs on a points-based system. You will be faced with frequent questions, which require you to recall previous events with accuracy. If you don't lose more than 60 of the 100 points you start out with, you are eligible to unlock never-before-seen content, so you'll want to be careful!

Beyond this, the conference is full of fun and challenging minigames! Some of them force you to think carefully about the murder case, some of them call for good memory, and some of them are really just games, for your entertainment. Regardless, we're sure you will enjoy each and every one of them!

Conclusion

With the combination of action, suspense, and exciting new gameplay, it's no surprise that chapter 3 part 2 is one of the most gripping installments to Last One Standing yet. We promise it will be worth the wait—and we promise you won't want to wait any longer! Go ahead, check it out! Now that you know what you're in for, you'll be nice and ready to see how things turn out!

Hello, it's Lavrenty's #1 fan who speaks!

“...Fadei and I spent time in the broom closet together. Not getting it on like Lanassa and Iona, but investigating.” Well sis, after you rated him a 10, I'd hardly believe there are no sparks between the two of you. -- As always, Yana is such a queen! I believe there's only one time she let me down as a character (y'know, with Sabina's antics at the ball...); I love this snarky competitor so much. At the moment, she, Olesya, Kuzma and Valeri are my post-Lavrenty favorites. But hey, Lavrenty still keeps the crown as my absolute fav! #LavrentyFTW

Through the entire conference, Valeri *seemed* to make several attempts to stir up confusion, but when he finally said something that made sense, he got promptly dismissed by the group! Of course the King wouldn't announce the body: 'cause he was on cahoots with his minion! How could everyone forget about the King's Advisor being a potential menace? ;_;

Moving on to the part that got me on the verge of tears: ARINA. Arina's role in this conference was heartbreaking. I have no words, only sobs.

At least the dance mini-game means Kuzma won't become a culprit in the future? Praying for his life, hopefully he won't get off'ed anytime soon!

By the way, I wasn't able to unlock the bonus scenes! Even though I finished the debate with perfect score... :,o

Great update, thanks for the mystery! <3

We’re glad you enjoyed the latest update! We can’t wait for you to see chapter 4!

We’re so sorry about the bonus scenes! They always cause us so much grief, haha. We’ll investigate that issue, then re-release the part as soon as it’s been fixed!

OH MY GOSH, it's here!

Recently my computer was formatted, so I'll need to play from the start... An elaborate comment about the new part will probably take a while to arrive, my apologies! But while I'm at it, perhaps I could probably try writing a small walkthrough guide for the debates, if allowed? :D

Ahhh I'm already downloading!! See ya soon!

In that case, we hope you enjoy the new part when you get to it! And we look forward to hearing your feedback, too!

If you’d like to write a walkthrough guide, you’re more than welcome to do so!
